Agreement with RC Deportivo over the loan of Giménez
The Uruguayan centre-back will play on loan at the Galician club until the end of the season.
Atlético de Madrid and RC Deportivo have reached an agreement for the loan of José María Giménez for the 2026/27 season.
The Uruguayan joined our club in the 2013/14 season and made his debut in a LaLiga match against Almería on Sep. 14, 2013. Since then, he has won two LaLiga titles (2013/14 and 2020/21), one Spanish Super Cup (2014/15), one UEFA Europa League (2017/18) and one UEFA Super Cup (2018).
