Agreement with Rayo Vallecano for the loan of Carlos Martín
The Madrid-born forward, a product of our Academy, will join the Vallecas-based side on loan until the end of the season.
Atlético de Madrid and Rayo Vallecano have reached an agreement for Carlos Martín to join the Vallecas outfit on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Madrid-born forward, who joined our Academy in 2008, is set to embark on a new chapter in his career. Carlos Martín made his first-team debut for the club in 2021 against Osasuna and has since made seven competitive appearances. During his time in the Academy, the striker played a key role in the reserve team’s two promotions to Segunda RFEF and Primera RFEF, a campaign in which he finished as the club’s top scorer.
Last season, he spent time on loan at Deportivo Alavés, where he made 27 appearances and scored two goals in the top tier of Spanish football.
