Agreement with Girona for the loan of Thomas Lemar
The French footballer will continue his professional career with the Catalan club.
Atlético de Madrid and Girona FC have reached an agreement for the loan of Thomas Lemar to the Catalan club for this season.
The Frenchman made his official debut on Aug. 15, 2018 as we won the UEFA Super Cup against Real Madrid in Tallinn. Lemar has played a total of 186 official matches with our club, providing 19 assists and scoring 10 goals.
The midfielder joined our club in 2018 after winning the World Cup with France. Later that summer, he lifted the UEFA Super Cup and was a key player in our 2020/21 LaLiga success, being one of the top assist providers in our team (four).
