Agreement with Chelsea for the loan of João Félix
The Portuguese striker, who has extended his contract with our club for one more season, undertakes a new professional challenge in the Premier League.
Atlético de Madrid and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the loan of João Félix until the end of the current season. The Portuguese striker has also extended his contract with our club for one more season, until June 2027.
João Félix joined Atlético de Madrid in the summer of 2019, at the age of 19, from Benfica, and has made a total of 131 official appearances as a Red & White player, scoring 34 goals and providing 18 assists. Seven of those goals and six of those assists came in the 20/21 season, contributing to the eleventh league title in our history.
