A new LaLiga game against Mallorca
Our team visits Mallorca this Saturday in the game corresponding to the 31th round of LaLiga.
Atleti return to LaLiga after their European fixture against Manchester City and they do so by travelling to the Balearic Islands to take on Mallorca. The match, corresponding to matchday 31 take place this Saturday at 4.15 at Son Moix.
Our team arrives at the game after having won their sixth consecutive victory against Alavés at the Wanda Metropolitano (4-1). Our team will travel to Mallorca occupying the third place in LaLiga with 57 points, the same amount of points as Barcelona and Sevilla, second and fourth classified. 24 of those points have come away from the Wanda Metropolitano, having won 9 points of the last 9 possible after the wins at El Sadar, the Benito Villamarín and Vallecas.
For their part, Mallorca welcome us in 18th place in the standings with 26 points. They are two points away from salvation, coached by the ex Red & White manager Javier Aguirre, who will be in charge of Mallorca for the first time at home. The numbers at Son Moix show that they are a very difficult team to beat at their home ground, having taken 18 points from four wins and six draws in their 15 games.
Our last visit to Son Moix took place on 25 September 2019 and ended in a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Diego Costa and João Félix.
