A new LaLiga game against Elche

Our team faces Elche this Wednesday in the game corresponding to the 36th round of LaLiga.

A new league challenge for our team. Simeone's team travels to the Martínez Valero to face Elche Club de Fútbol in what will be the match corresponding to the thirty-sixth round of LaLiga. The match, which will be directed by the Asturian referee Pablo González Fuertes, will take place at 21:30 on Wednesday.

Our team arrives to the midweek match full of morale after beating Real Madrid in the Madrid derby by 1-0. Our team, in this way, managed to extend to 6 points the distance with the fifth classified, Real Betis, with 9 points left to play and with the goalaverage in our favor, so a victory in the Martínez Valero would mathematically certify our ticket to the next edition of the Champions League.

In order to do so, our team will have to overcome Elche, fourteenth classified with 39 points. The franjiverdes receive us after having taken 7 of the last 12 points at stake, four of them at home. Francisco's men have won most of their points at the Martínez Valero, with a total of 24, the result of 6 wins and 6 draws in the 17 home games played.

In the first leg, played at the Wanda Metropolitano, our team won 1-0 thanks to Ángel Correa's solitary goal.
