A new LaLiga derby at the Bernabéu

Our team visit Real Madrid this Sunday at 9pm in the 23rd LaLiga matchday in what will be the fourth derby against them this season.

After the match against Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday, we face the second derby of the week on Sunday 4 February at 9pm at the Santiago Bernabéu with the match corresponding to the 23rd matchday of LaLiga. The match will be directed by José María Sánchez Martínez, who will be supported by Eduardo Prieto Iglesias from the VAR.

We are in the midst of a positive momentum that has seen us win five consecutive matches, the first of which came against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey Round of 16. That 4-2 win after a great extra time was followed by victories against Granada, Sevilla, Valencia and Rayo Vallecano, with a balance of 10 goals scored and only 3 conceded between those matches.

In the first leg, we took all three points with a 3-1 home win. If we were to do so again, we would consolidate our place in the UEFA Champions League places as we would maintain the five points we have over Athletic Club.
