scores with a lob the cleared ball by Iago Herrerín to a penalty kicked by Griezmann.
2-0. 51’. Fernando Torres chips brilliantly over the visiting keeper after a spectacular pass by Correa.

Fernando Torres found the gap to score from a cleared penalty kicked by Griezmann to open the score and, in the second half, score the second one with a brilliant lob over the keper after a phenomenal assist from Correa. With today’s two, Atlético has scored 4,500 goals in LaLiga.

The team had come out very intensely, having two chances to score. Torres and Saúl made the first intents on Iago Herrerín’s goal until Torres fell inside the box. A penalty kicked by Griezmann, cleared by Iago and skilfully finished by Torres to beat the keeper. After the half-time, the second red and white goal increased the distance and the third could have been scored after two good shots from Correa and Carrasco. Leganés tried several times but between Moyá and the defenders, there was no chance for the visiting team. Important win to continue in the top positions before visiting Barcelona on Tuesday in the second leg of the Cup’s semi-final at the Camp Nou.
