Thomas renews his contract until 2023

Atlético de Madrid are delighted to announce Thomas Partey has renewed his contract with our club until 30 June, 2023. Our Ghanian midfielder has been having a stellar season and has participated in 35 matches in the present season. In total, he’s defended our badge 82 times.

Thomas joined our academy back in 2011 and has since then progressed through the ranks until he reached our first team in 2015. His debut for the first team came on 28 November, 2015 against RCD Espanyol.
Thomas’ success with our club brought him to play for Ghana’s national team 14 times.
