Oblak to stay in Madrid during the International break
Our medical staff has prepared a report regarding Oblak’s injury status and recommends he stay in Madrid during the International break.
During the last few weeks, Jan Oblak has been suffering some discomfort on his arm. The same one he suffered a traumatism in our match against Arsenal in Singapore, which left him on the sidelines for roughly two weeks.
Our medical staff has sent a report to the Slovenian Football Association regarding Oblak’s injury status. To recover in the best possible way, they’ve recommended he stay in Madrid during the international break.
The Slovenian Football Association has been sensitive to Oblak´s full recovery, freeing our goalkeeper from the matches that Slovenia will play on 6 and 9 September against Bulgaria and Cyprus respectively. Therefore, Oblak will take advantage of this International break to fully recover.
