Simeone: "We played a good game"
Our coach and Koke spoke following our team's 1-1 draw against Sevilla.
Diego Pablo Simeone said that Sunday's game against Sevilla was evenly-matched.
"It was a great game. Sevilla are very strong at home and there were periods in which both teams dominated. We didn't attack very well in the first half but we improved greatly after the break. I think the way in which we reacted deserves praise," the Argentine said.
Our coach also praised Koke for his defensive work.
"You could see that they were hurting us down their right flank. We changed Koke's position because tactically he's extraordinary. He did a great job in a position he's not used to. After that, everything changed," Simeone said.
Our number 6 also spoke after the game, claiming it was a tough match and praising Griezmann.
"It was an evenly-matched and tough game. We knew how the games at this stadium are, and I think the draw is a fair result. Griezmann shows us every day what kind of player he is, he's very talented and that's why he scores these goals," Koke said.
Saúl also claimed that the draw was a fair result.
"I think both teams have to be satisfied with the point because it's fair. But we have to be ambitious and we wanted to earn the three points," our midfielder said.
