Diego Pablo Simeone took stock of the Madrid Derby in the press room of the Santiago Bernabéu. "We did not have great chances to score and suffered during 20 or 25 minutes. Then the changes made us more agile in the midfield. Correa felt more free and we left with a bitter taste because at the end of the game we were close to winning."

The Argentinian had a few words for the today’s scorer, Antoine Griezmann. "He played a great match, at the level of Savic, Godín, Filipe or Gabi. That is why had a good result and leave with the feeling that we could have won," he noted.

To finish, Simeone is already thinking of next Wednesday’s Champions League match against Leicester. "Their difficulties have been revealed. They are a different team from that of the draw. They are a complicated, hard team," he concluded.
