Simeone: "We will keep working in order to finish LaLiga in the best way possible"
Our coach, Godín and Koke spoke following the match at the Allianz Stadium.
Simeone spoke after Tuesday's Champions League defeat against Juventus.
"They were better than us. We didn't have many chances apart from Morata's header. Juventus played very well, we have to congratulate them," the Argentine said.
Our coach also said that our team now must focus on the league and the rest of the season.
"We have to get up tomorrow and keep working. Now we must finish LaLiga in the best way possible," Simeone said.
Godín on Tuesday said that the home side defended very well, but urged to keep going until the end of the season.
"We weren't able to find ways to attack them. They were able to score and we couldn't score the goal that we needed to qualify. We will continue giving it our all until the end of the season," our captain said.
Koke congratulated Juventus, while urging our team to learn from Tuesday's mistakes.
"It's a tough night. They were more intense and took their chances. We have to congratulate them. We were better at the Wanda Metropolitano and they were better today. We have to learn from our mistakes," our midfielder said.
