Our first International Champions Cup match is nearly here!
Our team will play its first match of preseason at 1:35 p.m. CET against Arsenal.
Our first test of preseason is here. At 1:35 p.m. CET our lads will face Arsenal for the International Champions Cup in Singapore.
This will be Arsenal's second preseason match, after they comfortably beat Boreham Wood 0-8 on 14 July. Our matchup with Arsenal will be a particularly exciting one following our recent meeting in the UEFA Europa League semi-final, when our team progressed 2-1 on aggregate.
Diego Pablo Simeone brought lots of youngsters with him to our tour in Singapore and knows they will give it their all against Arsenal.
“It’s a beautiful experience for the youngsters to begin to feel what it’s like to compete with the first team," he said. "Now, we’re going to work hard to prepare ourselves for the match against Arsenal. We’re going to prepare ourselves for how we think the match is going to go."
