Oblak is fighting to be the best goalkeeper in Europe

Our goalkeeper is among the best in Europe, along with De Gea (Premier League), Ter Stegen (LaLiga), Alisson (Serie A) and Ulreich (Bundesliga)

Jan Oblak is amongst the best goalkeepers in Europe. Out of the goalkeepers from the top four European leagues, (LaLiga, Premier League, Serie A and Bundeslia) Oblak has the third lowest ratio of goals conceded per game, in all competitions. Our keeper has played 15 matches this season (11 in LaLiga and 4 in the Champions League) and has conceded nine goals. With these numbers in mind, his goals conceded per game average is .53 per match.

Temp. 17-18 | Athletic - Atlético de Madrid | Oblak

This season, his stats have been as good as ever and he's kept a clean sheet in eight matches (six in LaLiga and two in the Champions League). He's also saved all the penalties he's faced this season (2).

Since signing for Atlético de Madrid in 2014, Oblak has shown himself to be one of the best in his position. In the past two seasons, he was awarded the Zamora trophy and wishes to repeat the feat in the 2017/18 season.
