Atlético de Madrid came out determined to win the match from the opening whistle. Filipe Luis made trouble for Valencia’s keeper in the 3rd minute and Griezmann scored the first goal on 10 minutes after a good through ball from Koke. Antoine could have scored the second one a little later but his shot just went wide.

Gameiro scored the second goal just as the second half began. He received a pass from Filipe Luis and with a hard right-footer scored the 2-0. The chances ensued for Gameiro and Griezmann, each one could have scored the third two times. But the one that closed the match with his second goal was Griezmann. A landslide against Valencia in a serious match controlled by our team.
