Atlético de Madrid fast-tracked the match against Sporting. Our team wanted the third consecutive victory after the thrashing against Celta and the fantastic win in the Netherlands against PSV, and nothing better than having scored two goals on 4 minutes. First Griezmann, and later Gameiro, knocked out Sporting. Then, a spectacular Griezmann with a fierce kick scored the 3-0, result with which the first half ended.
With the match decided, only the possible reaction of Sporting remained to be seen, to avoid a bigger thrashing and attempt to score a goal and, on the other hand, if Atlético increased its score. And Griezmann almost scored his third, but the 4-0 came when Torres had been four minutes on the pitch. A great play by Correa finished by the red and white '9' scoring his first goal in the present season. Just before the end, Torres scored his first double when he converted a penalty on Nico Gaitán. Now, we have to think about Wednesday’s game at the Camp Nou.
