Jan Oblak receives the Zamora trophy for the 2016-17 season

Jan Oblak received the Zamora trophy, goalkeeper who has the lowest goals-to-game ratio) for the 2016/17 season. This is his second Zamora trophy in a row.

"This trophy isn't mine, it's a trophy for the whole group," he said. "I have to thank my teammates."

Our goalkeeper played 30 matches last season and conceded just 21 goals (0,72 per game). Due to an injury, Oblak missed eight matches and Miguel Ángel Moyá replaced him in the starting lineup. In total, Atlético conceded 27 goals in LaLiga last season.

This is the ninth time an Atlético player finished the season with the best goals-to-game ratio: Fernando Tabales (39-40), Marcel Domingo (48-49), Miguel Reina (76-77), Abel Resino (90-91), José Francisco Molina (95-96), Thibaut Courtois (12-13 and 13-14) Jan Oblak (15-16).
