Matched game at Camp Nou between two teams that did not have many chances to score in the first half. Our team stood up at all times and left very few gaps for Barcelona. However, the first to warn Barcelona was Carrasco but Ter Stegen diverted the effort from the Belgian. The answer came from Iniesta and Oblak saved comfortably. In the final stretch of the first half, a cross from Iniesta was headed into the net by Rakitic.
After the interval, our players went firmly for the win. Griezmann warned 15 seconds in with a shot that was saved by Barça’s German keeper. The team pressured closer to the top and Luis Enrique’s suffered because they had no clear path for the ball. Messi was injured, Correa and Torres entered and the match changed. Torres touched for Correa and the Argentinian kicked a low and measured fierce shot to tie the game. An important draw to continue along the good line. Now, we have to think about Sunday’s match against Deportivo at the Calderón.
