Our team falls for the first time this pre-season against Melbourne Victory (1-0). A solitary goal from Ansell in the final stretch of the first half was enough.

We closed the Australian tour with a defeat against Melbourne Victory (1-0). A solitary goal from Ansell in a strategic play at the edge of the half-time was enough for the Australians to win the game.
In the first half, we dominated the game and Amath, could have put our team ahead twice, first with a volley shot, and later in a one-on-one after a great pass between lines form Tiago. Other scoring chances came from Juan Moreno, a distant shot that the keeper failed to catch and an angled shot cross by Manquillo, after a great control with his chest.
In the final stretch of the first half, a free kick by Melbourne Victory would be headed by Ansell, who would rise above our defenders and send it to the back of the net, which would ultimately be definitive. After this match, our team returns to Madrid to continue with the pre-season training in the capital.
