Defeat at Anoeta

Atlético had its chances to score in the first half but Rulli and the post spoiled the fun for our team. In the second half, two penalties were critical for Real’s victory.

Atlético de Madrid had its chances to win at Anoeta in the first half in which in the first half hour, first Saúl and later Gameiro could have scored. The player from the ranks met Rulli and the Frenchman lobbed it over the keeper, but his effort hit the post. Real woke up and Vela forced Oblak to make a great save.

In the second half, two penalties in favour of Real Sociedad decided the game for the Basques. Our team tried to the very end, but Carrasco, twice, and Griezmann, once, could not beat Rulli.
