Carrasco extends his contract for two more seasons
The Belgian international has become one of the cornerstones of the first team thanks to his speed, ability to dribble and shoot.
Yannick Carrasco has extended his contract with our club until 30th June, 2022. The Belgian international signed his new contract, which increases in two seasons the previous one, which was finishing in 2020. The explosive red and white winger, once his renewal was confirmed, was "very happy to continue many more years in Atlético de Madrid."
Carrasco came to our club last season from ACE Monaco. The Belgian left midfielder played in a total of 43 official games in the 2015-16 campaign, playing 2,402 minutes and scoring five goals, one of them in the Champions League final. He also assisted his teammates in five goals.
For José Luis Pérez Caminero, Yannick Carrasco's renewal is "great news for all the Atléticos."
