Atleti will participate in the next edition of the Audi Cup
Our team will participate for the first time in the prestigious tournament in which the participating teams will be Bayern, the home team, the British Liverpool FC, Atlético de Madrid and a fourth team to be confirmed. The tournament was announced this Friday with a press conference in which the coaches of the three teams, Simeone, Ancelotti and Klopp addressed the media.
Atlético de Madrid will participate in the next edition of the Audi Cup that will be played next 1st and 2nd of August at the magnificent Allianz Arena in Munich. In addition to our team, the following teams will participate in this prestigious tournament: FC Bayern Munich, Liverpool FC and a fourth team still to be confirmed. The tournament will help our players to prepare for the beginning of next season.
The 2017 Audi Cup was presented this Friday, May 12th, in a press conference from Munich, London, and Madrid in which the managers of the three teams: Carlo Ancelotti (FC Bayern), Jürgen Klopp (Liverpool FC) and our coach, Diego Pablo Simeone. This will be the fifth edition of the Audi Cup - a tournament organized by FC Bayern and Audi - and our club will participate for the first time.
The semi-finals will be held on the 1st of August; the match for the third place and the grand final, on Wednesday, 2nd of August. The matches will be played at 17:45 and 20:30.
