Álvaro Morata: "I'm very happy and proud to be here"

It was a very special day for the striker, who enjoyed his presentation with his family. Enrique Cerezo welcomed him during an event at the Wanda Metropolitano Auditorium.

Álvaro Morata was unveiled on Tuesday as a new Atlético de Madrid player, during an event that took place at the Wanda Metropolitano Auditorium.

The striker was accompanied by his family, Club President Enrique Cerezo, Atleti CEO Miguel Ángel Gil, Sports Director Andrea Berta, Club Director Clemente Villaverde.

Enrique Cerezo welcomed Morata to our club.

"Álvaro, I don't have to explain to you what wearing this shirt means. I know that your grandfather, who is a huge Atlético and whom we thank him for his passion and Red & White spirit, explained to you what our club stands for when you were very young. We are sure that Álvaro Morata will help us to keep growing and to reach our goals," our President said.
