Atlético de Madrid faced a wall as had happened in the morning in the Youth game. But before the half hour, the goal from our team came thanks to Griezmann. However, Rostov tied in their first chance to score.
In the second half, the same thing happened, with Atlético throwing themselves against a defensive team and though there were a few chances, the unbreakable faith of our team stayed intact. With Gameiro and Correa on the field and with Godín on the attack too, the offensive was complete and Griezmann could make the fans happy with an effort that went in after hitting the crossbar. A goal which means we’ve won all our matches in the Group Stage and we’ve qualified for the last 16 for the fourth consecutive season. Now, Atlético leads the group with 12 points, Bayern with 9, also qualified, and PSV and Rostov, both with 1 point. There are two weeks left which will decide which team advances as the group leader.
