Agreement with Atlético Rafaela for the transfer of Axel Werner
The young Argentinian keeper will play loaned in Boca Juniors this season.
Our club has reached an agreement with Atlético Rafaela for the transfer of Axel Werner. The transfer of the young Argentinian goalkeeper was completed last night and the keeper has signed a contract for five seasons, which will link him to our club until 30th June, 2021. Atlético de Madrid and Boca Juniors have also signed an agreement for the goalkeeper to play loaned in the Xeneize team this season.
Werner, 20 years-old and 1,91 meters high, took the leap to the first team of Atlético Rafaela in the 14-15 campaign, although it was in the final stages of the last Championship when he became a starting player in his team, playing the last nine games. The goalkeeper has been in the Olympic Games of Rio playing with the Argentinian national team.
