Atlético de Madrid are delighted to announce an agreement with Argentinos Junior over the transfer of the young defender Nehuén Pérez. He’s signed a six-year contract, which will link him to our club until 30, June 2024.
Pérez, an 18-year-old central defender, is one of the most promising Argentine talents. Despite his young age, he traveled with the Argentine squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, although he wasn’t a member of the final 23-man squad. Once in Madrid, he underwent medical examinations and signed his contract linking him to our club.
