Access to the Cívitas Metropolitano during the temporary closure of the roundabout on the M-40 / Avda. de Arcentales

Due to the works to improve the access to the Cívitas Metropolitano stadium with the M-40, from Monday, November 13, the entire roundabout on Avenida de Arcentales on the M-40 will remain closed.

During the next few months, surface traffic will not be possible inside the roundabout. However, the lateral turns that border the roundabout will remain open to traffic and fully operational as before:

- From the M-201 coming from Coslada to take the M-40 heading north.

- From Avenida de Arcentales to take the M-40 heading south.

- From exit 10 of the M-40 coming from the south to take the M-201 to Coslada.

Alternative routes have been established by the General Directorate of Traffic that will allow the connection of Avenida de Arcentales with Coslada and vice versa.

The cutting of the roundabout will affect the matches held in the stadium in the months of November, December, January and February, although the final duration of the works will depend on the weather.

These actions are being carried out and financed entirely by Atlético de Madrid, and will considerably improve the departure of cars and buses at the end of matches, concerts and other mass events, providing the stadium with two new direct connections with the M-40, and they join the new direct exit from Avenida Luis Aragonés to the M-21, the M-14 and the A-2 that was opened to traffic since last April.

Likewise, the residents of the San Blas-Canillejas district will benefit daily from these new infrastructures, which will allow traffic in the neighborhood to be barely affected when events are held at the stadium.
