"We are happy with the win"

The midfielder Thomas noted the work of the whole group to value a win that makes the team leader in the League. "Everyone is there to play. The team is well and anyone can score to help the team. We are happy with the win. We are already thinking about winning the next Cup game against Rayo Vallecano," he said. 

Diego Godín assured that "we are well, happy for both things but more for winning the three points than for the leadership. It strengthens us to continue working in this way, knowing that we have to improve some things. We leave happy with the win."

To finish, he referred to Thomas, the author of the goal, pointing out that "it makes me happy for him because he’s a guy who’s had few minutes and has always been very respectful, very quiet and very humble. Now, it’s his time to have qualitative minutes, as the coach says, and they’re good for him to find a place within the group and the team.
