Tiago returns to the squad list, and Ansaldi, with a lumbar injury, is injured
Simeone provided the list of 21 players called up to travel to Sweden for the Champions Leage with the novelty of Tiago, who was medically discharged after recovering from his injury, and Ansaldi did not finally travel, due to a lumbar injury.
Atlético’s first team exercised on Sunday morning at Majadahonda’s Sports City after their victory against Córdoba (4-2). After the session, Diego Pablo Simeone provided the list of the 20 players called to face Malmö in the fourth round of the Champions League with the Portuguese Tiago being the novelty, since he has recovered from the injury that kept him on the sidelines during the last couple of matches. Finally, Cristian Ansaldi could not travel, because of the lumbar injury he suffers, determined by the examination, X-ray and nuclear magnetic resonance of the lumbar spine. Due to this, he stays in Madrid to be treated.
The squad will travel to Sweden on Monday morning and will exercise on the field of SwedBank Stadion from 18:45. The official press conference will take place half an hour before the training (18:15).
