LaLiga returns to the Vicente Calderón with a leading Atlético de Madrid after the win against Valencia on the day we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the first game played at our stadium. The goals from Griezmann and Gameiro garnered an important and indisputable victory that made our team lead the table before the break for the national teams’ matches.

Atlético comes to this match with the absence of Saúl on the squad list due to an injury after receiving a blow in the match at Mestalla, and despite being treated by the national team, he could not recover to play for Lopetegui. He joins the also injured Moyá, Giménez, Cerci and Augusto.

We will play against Granada on Supporters’ Club Day, a day on which red and white associations from around the world are going to get together, since many of the more than 700 Supporters’ Clubs distributed around the world will be there.

Granada does not know what it is to win in the Vicente Calderón, since it has played 16 games in this stadium and has only had a tie (0-0) in the 74-75 season. Moreover, since its return to the top tier in the 2011/12 season, Granada has lost every match in the last five visits to our pitch, not scoring a single goal.
