The Champions League returns to the Wanda Metropolitano

Atlético de Madrid will host FK Qarabag in a must-win Champions League group stage match. Atlético depend on themselves to reach the next stage of the Champions League and a win against the Azerbaijan Champions is crucial.

In our visit to Baku, Qarabag managed to keep us to goalless draw. Atlético have the obligation to beat the purple-and-white side in the Wanda Metropolitano, in order to be closer to inching qualification for the next round of the Champions League.

The Azerbaijani side will be without their star striker Dino Ndlovu, as he was sent off in the match in the Baku Olympic Stadium.

German referee, Deniz Aytekin, will officiate the match.
