The champion will debut against Sant Andreu

Atletico Madrid will face Sant Andreu in the knockout phase of the Copa del Rey. The draw calculated the route to the final on Saturday April 19.

Our club the reigning Cup Champions hosted the event that took place in the VIP room of the Vicente Calderon stadium and was attended by Angel Maria Villar and Jorge Perez, chairman and general secretary of the Royal Spanish Football Federation , Javier Thebes, leader of the Professional Football League (LFP), Enrique Cerezo and Miguel Angel Gil, president and CEO of the club and representatives from other clubs participating in the competition. Gabi, Mario Suarez, Juanfran, Adrian, David Villa, Koke, Óliver Torres and Manquillo attended on behalf of the first team.

The first leg against Sant Andreu , will take place in the Municipal Narcis Sala, on the 7th or 8th of December and in the Calderon the second leg will be on the 18th of December.

The winner of this tie will go in to the next round and come up against the winner of the Nastic -Valencia.
