ATLÉTICO HAS ADDED 13 POINTS AND ONLY HAS CONCEDED TWO GOALS AWAY

The best League team away from home

The red and whites added half of the points won in this League away from home, which makes Simeone’s the strongest team away from home so far.

The win against Real Betis has made Atlético second in the League with 26 points. After twelve rounds played, the red and whites add eight wins, half of them away. The team won away against Eibar, Sevilla, Real Sociedad and Real Betis, adding a total of thirteen points. Only Celta matches these numbers, although Simeone's team has a better scoring record: nine goals in favour and only two conceded.

The defensive solidity is still another of the strengths of the team this season. Jan Oblak has conceded six goals in this League, or in other words, he concedes a goal every two matches. To this day, the Slovenian goalkeeper is the current Zamora of the Championship. In the twelve games played so far, the team has remained unbeaten in seven of them.
