José Sosa spoke at a press conference after the training session and seemed sure that the team will do a good job against Valencia. “We know one is more confortable when playing at home, but the team has been doing things right up till now. We try to maintain the same concentration and the same eagerness out of home, knowing that it’s not the same as playing with our people”. He also added that the match at Mestalla “Is very important for us, very decisive and of vital importance”.

The fatigue the team may have accumulated is not a problem for Sosa, because “This aspect is being well managed. The technical staff is managing with the player that have more minutes. Those who aren’t playing as much always train in the days prior to the next fixtures to be prepared at any moment”. For the Argentinian, the key to face the two next matches is “Resting and try to keep the concentration that a Champions semifinal logically requires. We have to keep it also for the League because we’re at a stage where we can’t relax”.

Seeing how the tickets for Mestalla and Stamford Bridge have been sold out to Atlético fans makes Sosa “Proud, it’s an added energy”. “We know it’s not only the team or the people from the training centre, but it’s all the people that are with us, and we feel that energy” the Atlético added.

Lastly, Sosa spoke about the objectives the team wishes to reach at the end of the season. “Every player has big dreams. It’s hard, it’s a very long road. A work that has been carried out by the team for a long time. That’s why we’re all reaching for this dream and we’re on the final stretch where we’re all going to fight to achieve it”.
