Sosa: "It is a new challenge in which I’ve come to do my best"
The Argentine was presented as a new player of Atletico Madrid in the VIP Room of Estadio Vicente Calderon, where he said he was pleased to join the red and white club.
The footballer José Sosa told reporters gathered in the Calderon that he recognised that "this is a very special moment. I got to meet my new teammates and the coaching staff that I worked with a long time ago. Now I want to enjoy this new beginning and try to find my role in the team," said the Argentine.
During his presentation, Sosa acknowledged that "in this market I had several offers from different teams, but after knowing of the interest of Atletico Madrid I had no doubt. Knowing the coaching staff and the club I did not hesitate, it's a new challenge, a new challenge in which I will do my best. It was a decision I had to make, which I feel so happy about."
The Argentine, fresh from training at the Majadahonda Sports City said that "today was the first day of training with the group. We had time to talk about some things, but as time goes by we’ll talk in more details. It is important to know them and for them to know me to try to understand as well as possible the team and with time that will happen."
Finally, Sosa, who already played with Simeone in Estudiantes stressed that "to know the coaching staff gives possibilities to integrate faster. I thank my team mates for the welcome and I know that I have to give everything like them. The important thing is to add to the group as they do."
