Simeone: "We were more determined in the second half"

The Argentinian coach analysed the tie in the first leg match of the round of 16 of the King’s Cup: "I think that in the second half we were more determined and resolute from the midfield onwards. We made better decisions to pressure or to play passing game. In the first half, it was harder for us. We were more stationary and that made Rayo play a better first half. They got ahead in the first half."
Regarding the role of the new signings, the Argentinian said: "Kranevitter played the whole game quite regularly and Augusto played a correct match. He will obviously improve from now on."
