Diego Pablo Simeone appeared at the press conference prior to the UEFA Champions League match against Real Madrid. The Argentinian said that "If there is a tie there will be a new match on the following Wednesday to solve the qualifying round for any of the two sides."

Tomorrow’s will be the seventh time we’ll face Real Madrid this season. For this reason, Simeone was questioned by the last match that ended 4-0 in our favour: "It is a different game, a new qualifying round with players who have not played in that match on both teams and with a different ending than that of a qualifying round."

Lastly, the Argentinian sent a message to the fans: "We hope to invite them from the field to be present throughout the game. All the positive energy always goes up from the field. We want them to participate from the first minute. From the pride as a club, we will try to respond to the audience."
