THE ATLETICO COACH POINTS OUT THAT HIS TEAM ALWAYS GO OUT TO WIN

Simeone: "We play to win and that is what we believe is best "

Diego Pablo Simeone spoke prior to the second game of the Group Stage in the Dragao Stadium against Porto, highlighting the fact that his team always "plays to win".

The Atletico coach said "we are going to face a great team, that are very strong at home and has not lost at home in the last 70 games. We are working well. We go in to the game with one less day of preparation, it's not an excuse, but a reality. But we’ll prepare well for the game to try to get the best result."

Regarding what David Villa brings to the team, the coach was emphatic commenting that "without a doubt he is a player with a lot of experience and he has won major titles. I'm surprised the effort that he has had on the team. I hope he can go on how he is ding and the goals will come.”

When asked if more than two points are at stake, he said "Porto won the match in Austria and we won against Zenit but there’s a long way to go. We’re not going to change how we play. Porto are a team that plays well down the wings and frm set pieces. They’re very strong at home. In the Champions League they are very competitive. They play every year and are used to playing these kind of games."

Finally, he spoke about Godin who picked up an injury in the match against Real Madrid "Godin is going to travel with us but we’re not sure if he’ll be fit. We'll see how he evolves and if he can play or not."
