Atlético’s coach said, "the team continues to grow and improve. They are enhancing their teamwork and that leads to individuals standing out more. And that makes us happy. Regarding the field being a key factor, Simeone is very clear. He emphasised that "the team that plays at home has an added strength with the energy of your fans and at your stadium. As for Cerci, Simeone said that he "is a team player and is making a huge effort to play and he surely will. Hopefully, when the time comes, he can respond with the characteristics of the player we have been looking for. When the time comes, he will be fine because he is training very well and he's well prepared. Now it’s up to the coach to let him play. Hopefully the coach can bring him out sometime so he can demonstrate what he has, which is a lot."
