Diego Pablo Simeone appeared in the Pressroom of the Vicente Calderón after the match. The Argentinian coach analysed the team's win: "We handled the match pretty well. We’ve taken advantage of the situations we had to score. We could have possibly scored more goals if we had been more successful in scoring. I imagine a completely different match in Astana. I’m convinced that we will suffer there, because it’s a hard team."
