Simeone: "This result gives us the chance of going to Munich with possibilities"

Diego Pablo Simeone appeared in press conference at the end of the match against Bayern Munich. The Argentinian coach analysed the duel: "This result gives us the chance of going to Munich with possibilities. In the first half, we did what we set out to do, while in the second half, they were closer to what they sought at the start." 

Simeone also praised the work of Augusto Fernández: "We have finished the first part of the qualifying round and now we have the second left. Augusto played a great match. He had a great presence in all the sectors of the field recovering balls. He was good in the places he had to be and that gives us the joy of having counted with him." 

Lastly, our coach referred to Saúl’s goal: "I was in a diagonal to the play. It seems he comes very well out of the first dribble, which gives him the strength to keep carrying. I didn’t see much more, but I imagined the shot. The goal makes us very happy because of the play."
