Simeone: "The team came out very strong"
Atlético’s coach assessed the triumph achieved in Riazor and highlighted the first minutes of game.
Diego Pablo Simeone appeared at a press conference following the victory achieved in Riazor against Deportivo (1-2). "We played a great first half, where the team came out very strong. A team in need as Deportivo, with the support of its people and with the effort of trying to find a goal that would get them in the match, just as it happened."
One of the names of the game was the Koke, starter on the midfield together with Tiago: "He’s a player who is very good creating plays, wins many balls. With the passing of time I see him more in the midfield. The goals helped us to manage the match better, especially in the first half and until their goal.”
Lastly, and despite having added a very important win, Simeone said that "It is not a definitive step because, everything is very tight, because we all play together.
