Simeone: "The guys played a fantastic match"

Diego Pablo Simeone answered the media, after the 0-0 at the Philips Stadion. The Argentinian analysed the first leg match of the round of 16: "The guys played a fantastic game. Since the start of the game, they put pressure on the rival’s field, they had chances to score. We also controlled the second half. We had a clear one with Torres and Correa. I come away with the feeling that playing like this, we are closer to winning."
Regarding the opponent, the red and white said: "They are hard and fast on the counterattack. In the first half, we have created a few dangerous situations, especially to our set pieces, but we controlled the game. Vietto, Griezmann, Koke, Correa... I'm leaving with the feeling that the team is there."
