Simeone: "The first 30 minutes were very good"

Diego Pablo Simeone analysed the match immediately after it ended. The coach said that "the team played a very good first half. We could surprise at the top with Griezmann, Jackson and Vietto. In the midfield we had the containment of Koke and Tiago. The first 30 minutes were very good and that made the team score goals and the rest of the rest of the game can be played in consequence of that."

Regarding the level of play in these first fixtures, our coach said that "we played very well the match against Sevilla. With Las Palmas it was a little bit harder, and the other day against Barcelona we didn't play well. Today the team responded. There is a very competitive level within the group and hopefully they will always give what the team needs."

Lastly, Simeone is already thinking in the next League commitment: "I hope that we can continue in this line and now we have to think about Eibar."
