Simeone: "The best thing of the match was the reaction we had"
Diego Pablo Simeone, Atlético de Madrid’s coach, highlighted the great performance of Oblak and that the team came close in the second half to the match he had imagined.
Simeone said the qualifying round "is open. The rival was better in the first half, they played more intensely and with opportunities and we had a great Oblak. As to not having lost any of the seven matches against Real Madrid, he was emphatic by stating that "The 14 years without winning didn’t count and we won the King’s Cup final in the extra time.
