Simeone: "I see the team well, excited"
Atlético’s coach assessed our team’s visit to the Ciutat de Valencia with the objective of bringing us closer to the ultimate goal.
Diego Pablo Simeone appeared at a press conference after our team’s last training before travelling to Valencia to measure up against Levante: "We have worked to get to the match in the best possible shape. We've gone from less than more throughout the week, trying to correct some things and trying to improve others. I see the group well, enthusiastic, competing in a league that is demonstrating us daily that it’s the best in the world."
Despite the commitments of the direct rivals, Simeone focuses only on his team: "We still depend on us beyond tonight’s result, and I have always thought the same thing. That is why we only focus on getting well to our match and knowing that we are dependant on what we do in our match."
Lastly, the team’s coach said that "I always say that in life you have to do, not wait. For things to happen you have to do, not wait. Waiting depends on other people and I believe that beyond other people and what happens, we depend on ourselves."
