Simeone analysed our 0-0 draw against Club Brugge on Tuesday.
"We tried to win the game from beginning to end. I think that in the first half we had more chances to take the lead, whereas the second half was more even. The lads tried their best," the Argentine said.
Our coach claimed to be happy despite the draw.
"I'm happy, we've made it to the Last 16 and now we want to keep helping the club to grow," Simeone said.
Rodrigo also spoke after the game, claiming that the team wanted to win despite having already qualified for the Last 16.
"We wanted to win today. We had a lot of chances, especially in the first half, but we were unable to convert any of them. We barely didn't concede any chances and the team showed its potential," our midfielder said.
Koke claimed that the result was down to bad finishing on the night.
"We wanted to go through. We had the chance to finish top of the group, it wasn't meant to be,. We lacked precision in the final metres," the Spaniard said.
