He will begin his rehabilitation process on Monday 21
Sergio Asenjo, Club Atlético de Madrid player on loan at Málaga, received medical clearance to leave the hospital on Sunday morning 13 February after receiving a visit from Doctors Pedro Guillén and José María Villalón. The player will wear a cast on his leg for one week. He will then begin his rehabilitation process on Monday 21 February.
The ‘rojiblanco’ goalkeeper underwent surgery on Friday the 11th for the torn anterior cruciate ligament that he suffered in his right knee. Doctor Pedro Guillén operated on the footballer, placing an Achilles tendon from a cadaver in the knee and the positive progress of the knee has made it possible for the player to be given medical clearance after just two days at the CEMTRO Clinic.
