Raul Garcia: "The team has responded and have turned it around"
The Atletico player was very satisfied with the performance of his teammates in the game that sees them make it to the cup semifinals.
Raúl García analysed the match with the media and stressed that on the pitch of the Nuevo San Mames that "we knew it was going to be a tough game. We talked at halftime that we had to be a team of men and stand up when the game is complicated, and so it has been, the team has responded and we've turned it around."
The Atletico man has acknowledged that "we have suffered the last 10 minutes of the first half. During the first half hour we've been good, have had chances to score. After the break the coach has seen the game differently and made changes and has been successful."
As for scoring another goal, he said "The important thing about the goal, like that of Diego, is that they allow us to go through to the next round without major problems."
Finally , with reference to the semifinals of cup against Real Madrid, he commented that it is "another nice game. They are special game, we are looking forward to preparing well for it, we hope to play well again and make it to the final. We had a difficult month in January, but the team has responded and we are alive in all competitions." he said.
